What and Who is Heijzoo?
Heijzoo Retro Sportswear is a unique Dutch sportswear brand that has its origins in the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s, an era when the brand was known for its authentic soccer shirts for various Dutch professional soccer clubs. The designs were quirky, artisanal and steeped in the nostalgia of old-time soccer.
In 2025, Heijzoo underwent a complete re-branding. With respect for the past, the brand now focuses on exclusive and small-scale retro projects. No mass production, but unique soccer shirts inspired by culture, fictional clubs and alternative soccer stories. Heijzoo pays tribute to the shirt as a style object – where identity, history and design come together.
